November 14, at Noon PT Sunset Ballroom at The Beverly Hills Hotel BEVERLY HILLS, CALIF. (November 11, 2012) ? Hall of Fame promoter Bob Arum and Todd duBoef, CEO and President of Top Rank?, respectively, will host a Los Angeles News Conference Luncheon to formally introduce the highly-decorated M?xican-American amateur sensation JOSE RAM?REZ as its newest member of the Top Rank stable of stars. The news conference will take place This Wednesday! November 14, in the Sunset Ballroom at The Beverly Hills Hotel (9641 Sunset Blvd., Beverly Hills, Calif. 90210.) Luncheon will be served at Noon PT with the news conference beginning at 12:30 p.m. PT. Also attending the news conference will be Armando Mancinas and Rick Mirigian, trainer/co-manager and co-manager/deal agent for Ram?rez, respectively. Arguably the crown jewel of the 2012 U.S. Olympic Team, Ram?rez will make his professional debut, in a four-round lightweight bout, on the undercard of the Manny Pacquiao ? Juan Manuel M?rquez 4 welterweight event, Saturday, December 8, at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. Pacquiao-M?rquez 4 will be produced and distributed Live on HBO Pay-Per-View?, beginning at 9 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. PT. Hailing from Avenal, Calif., Ram?rez, 20, who began boxing when he was 8, surpassed multi-division world champions Oscar De La Hoya, Floyd Mayweather, Jr. and Shane Mosley to become USA Boxing?s all-time lightweight record holder. The No. 1-rated amateur lightweight in the U.S., Ram?rez?s resume boasts 145 victories and 11 National titles. His trophy case glistens with gold including: U.S. Olympic Team Trials Champion (2012), National Champion (2010-2011), Junior Olympic National Champion (2010-2011) and USA Boxing National Champion (2011.)  |
