Battle of the Trades Returns for Its 3rd Year April 25 at Torrey Pines Community Resource Center in Las Vegas

PhilBoxing.com

LAS VEGAS, NV (April 2, 2026) — The Southern Nevada Building Trades Unions are proud to announce the return of the 3rd Annual Battle of the Trades, taking place at the Torrey Pines Resource Community Center on April 25, 2026. What began as a unique industry event has quickly become one of the most anticipated gatherings of the year, uniting tradesmen and women from across Southern Nevada for an unforgettable day of competition, camaraderie, and community.

Battle of the Trades offers a rare and exciting glimpse into the grit, pride, and brotherhood and sisterhood that define the skilled trades. Participants step out of their everyday roles and into a spirited competitive environment, showcasing not only their physical and technical abilities but also the deep sense of unity that drives the industry forward.

More than just a high-energy event, Battle of the Trades is rooted in a powerful purpose. Proceeds benefit Center Ring Boxing, a nonprofit boxing gym dedicated to supporting local youth. Through mentorship, discipline, and structured programming, Center Ring Boxing provides young people with a safe environment and a positive path forward — making a lasting impact in the community.

“The energy around this event has been incredible,” said Aaron Ibarra, of The Southern Nevada Building Trades Unions. “The past two years have sold out, and each year we’ve seen the community rally behind not just the competition, but the cause. It’s about more than a great show, it’s about giving back and investing in the next generation.”

“This event has been a tremendous blessing to all of our kids that train at Center Ring Boxing,” said Tony Valdez, the longtime boxing coach at Center Ring Boxing. “With the support of The Southern Nevada Building Trades Unions, we’ve been able to make a powerful impact in our community. I’m truly grateful and I’m looking forward to another great event.”

With another sellout crowd expected, attendees can look forward to an electric atmosphere filled with industry pride, community spirit, and meaningful impact.

The 3rd Annual Battle of the Trades continues to highlight the hardworking men and women who build Southern Nevada — bringing them together for a great time, a great cause, and a powerful reminder of what the trades stand for.

This event is brought to you by Southern Nevada Building Trades Unions in association with Center Ring Boxing. Doors open at 12:00 pm. Tickets priced $20 are on sale now (Kids 12 and under are free but must be ticketed). For more information please contact Robyn at (702) 528-5280 or by email at robyn@snbtu.org.
