Undefeated Lightweight Alejandro Luna Fights Tonight In Ontario
PhilBoxing.com Sat, 20 Oct 2012
October 19, 2012 - Gary Shaw Productions undefeated lightweight prospect, Alejandro Luna (10-0, 8 KOs) battles Adolfo Landeros (22-28-2, 10 KOs) tonight at the Doubletree Hotel, Ontario, California on the Thompson Boxing Promotions card titled "New Blood".
Luna looks to extend on his unbeaten streak, having knocked out eight of his first ten opponents. A popular figure in his hometown of Whittier, California, Luna brings a big crowd to his fights and he promises to bring forth a good performance.
"I was supposed to fight at the Chumash Casino in August but my opponent came in overweight and the fight fell through," said Luna. "I'm happy that Gary Shaw and Thompson Boxing were able to get me on this card. Landeros and I both made weight so the fight is on. I have a lot of fans coming to see me fight tonight and I'm going to give everyone in attendance a great show. I'm in great shape and I'll be looking to end the night early if I get him hurt."
"Luna is an exciting young prospect and he's coming along very nicely." said promoter Gary Shaw. "Thompson Boxing and I worked harmoniously together to get him on this card. He's very popular in Southern California and I can see him becoming a big star if he can continue to win. He'll be at his best tonight."
Tickets for "NEW BLOOD" are priced at $75, $45, and $30. They are available now and may be purchased by calling 714-935-0900.
Bouts subject to change. Doors open at 6:30 pm, and the first bell rings at 7:30 pm. Ontario Doubletree Hotel is located at 222 Vineyard Avenue, Ontario, California.
