SORSINGYU ARRIVES FOR WORLD TITLE SHOWDOWN WITH BANAL PhilBoxing.com Wed, 17 Oct 2012  WBO world # 2 bantamweight Pungluang Sorsingyu (C) of Thailand arrived yesterday with his team for the much-awaited WBO World Bantamweight Championship against the WBO world # 1 AJ ?Bazooka? Banal of the Philippines scheduled 6 PM Saturday October 20, 2012 at the SM Mall Of Asia ARENA in Manila Philippines. Onboard flight PR 753 which arrived 02:10 PM yesterday, Team Thailand composed of Pungluang Sorsingyu, Onesongchai Promotions representative Michel Du, Mueankhit Saensuk and Thai journalists Anirut Chuebang and Phanlop Sriphraiwan who will be covering the World Championship bout for Thailand landed at the NAIA Terminal 2 and were in high spirits. The Team Sorsingyu of Thailand is staying at the Sofitel Hotel in Manila where they will be billeted for the rest of the week. Onesongchai Promotions new head Pariyakorn Ratanasuban who took over his father as decision maker of Thailand?s biggest Boxing and Muay Thai promotional company will be joining team Sorsingyu on Thursday afternoon where she is scheduled to arrive via PR 753 from Bangkok, Thailand. Team Sorsingyu will be joining Team World 11:00 AM Thursday at the Pinoy Pride XVII Philippines vs The World Official Press Conference at the Midas Hotel in Roxas Blvd., Manila, Philippines. This will be the first time the complete Team Philippines will be facing Team World. Pinoy Pride XVII Philippines vs The World will feature the WBO World Bantamweight Championship between the Philippines AJ ?Bazooka? Banal vs Pungluang Sorsingyu of Thailand, the WBO International Featherweight title match between Rey ?Boom Boom? Bautista of the Philippines vs Daniel Ruiz of Mexico and the WBO International Light Welterweight Championship of Filipino Jason Pagara vs Miguel ?Hands of Stone? Antoine of Barbados.
