PINOY PRIDE XVII PHILIPPINES VS THE WORLD OPPONENTS TO FACE MEDIA TODAY PhilBoxing.com Tue, 16 Oct 2012  Daniel Ruiz. The foreign cast of the much-anticipated Pinoy Pride XVII Philippines vs the World will face the Philippine media for the first time in an ALA Promotions Press Conference 12 noon today at the Shakey?s Malate Branch in Manila, Philippines. To face the Philippine media are Indonesian Bantamweight Champion Rasmanudin, Mudde Ntambe Rabison of Uganda, Miguel ?Hands of Stone? Antoine of Barbados and WBC Latino Super Featherweight Champion Daniel Ruiz of Mexico. World number 2 Bantamweight Pungluang Sorsingyu of Thailand who will be facing the Philippines? AJ ?Bazooka? Banal for the WBO World Bantamweight Championship for the main event Saturday will not be able to join the press conference as he is scheduled to arrive later during the day. Heading today?s presser in the absence of Sorsingyu will be Rey ?Boom Boom? Bautista opponent Daniel Ruiz of Mexico who is known to be a prolific fighter that pressures and knows how to box as well. The Mexican boasts of a high 57.58 % KO rate and will be a tough test for Bautista who is working his way up the championship ladder. The two will be fighting for the WBO International Featherweight title. Also in today?s press conference is challenger to Jason Pagara?s WBO International Light Welterweight crown Miguel ?Hands of Stone? Antoine. Antoine who is undefeated is the current WBC Caribbean Federation Lightweight Champion and aformer Light Welterweight Champion. The fighter from Barbados also boasts of a 50% KO rate and has knocked out 9 of his opponents on or before the 5th round. Completeing the cast of today?s presser are Rasmanudin who will be facing Filipino Marlon Tapales is the current Indonesian Bantamweight Champion and will be looking to end Tapales? 11-fight win streak and Uganda?s Mudde Ntambe Rabison who is set to face Michael Domingo and aims to improve his stock in the bantamweight division.
