Carson, CA - The fights at the Home Depot Center here in Southern California started at around four in the afternoon with fans lining outside of the stadium an hour before that.

Katrell Straus vs. Ronald Ellis
The second bout of the night is a scheduled Super Mid match between Straus (2-2, 1 KO) and the undefeated Ellis (3-0, 3 KOs).
Ellis eked out a Unanimous Decision victory with a complete shutout of Straus in 4. The scores were, 40-36 in all three of the cards.

Eliseo Durazo vs. Trevor McCumby
The undefeated McCumby dropped Durazo with a left hook in the initial round of their 4 round Light Heavy tilt. McCumby pounded on his foe after the knockdown which floored Durazo again. The referee called the fight after seeing enough punishment in the first giving McCumby a TKO victory.
The time of stoppage was 1:40 of the first.

Javier Garcia vs. Jose Roman
A war between two gritty warriors in the Lightweight Division ended in a Technical Draw between Javier Garcia (8-2-1, 7 KOs) and Jose Roman (14-0, 11 KOs). Both fighters scored a knockdown each in the scheduled 8 rounder. Garcia dropped Roman in round 1 but Garcia returned the favor in the next round.

A cut opened in Garcia's left eye in the 3rd which oozed bright red blood. The wound got bigger as the round went on forcing the ringside physician to look at it after the end of the round. The doctor advised referee Pat Russell to end the fight which he did. The fight under California rules is ruled a Technical Draw because it did not go beyond four rounds.

The ending to the exciting fight drew frustration from the crowd here at the venue.
