Crazy frog in sights of Smoking barrels PhilBoxing.com Fri, 12 Oct 2012 Two of Smithy?s Gym?s young prospects who will debut on the big stage, ?The Crazy Frog? Kaleb Barham and Loz ?Lock Stock and Smoking Barrels? Jocumsen are ready to do battle on the much anticipated ?Smithy brings the big fights II? on October 19 at Rumours International. The fight will be one of nine fights on the night and is one that Promoter, Brendon Smith thinks will get the crowd cheering. Barham, the newly crowned 125cc Australian Junior motocross champion has swapped the helmet for the headgear and the throttle for the right hook, has been working closely with senior Smithy?s Gym Amateur Golden Gloves champion, Ben Williams. Williams who has really sharpened young Barham?s movements up said they are looking forward to getting one over the other boys from the gym, ?Nothing like a good friendly rivalry, I think Kaleb is more technically gifted but Loz is a tough little bugger, will be a good bout that?s for sure?. Meanwhile, Jocumsen, who is more readily known for his swiftness on the football field with the Pittsworth Danes, is raring to go. Jocumsen is confident that he can get the job done quoting, ?I?ve got the right man in my corner? Jocumsen, will be cornered on the night by Australian Amateur champion Steven Spark, who will jet off to England days after the fight to represent QLD. Spark said, ?They think they have the skills, but we have some tricks and we have the bombs in both hands. Strap yourselves in fights fans; this will be a tear up.? These fights will be part of a 9 professional fight card on October 19 which includes: Featherweight - Jack Asis vs Maxsaisai Sithsaithong Featherweight - Brayd Smith vs Phissanuthep Chaiyonggym Heavyweight - Josh Robertson vs Phil Armstrong Junior welterweight - Jezze Carrasco vs Kyle Teer Super featherweight - Will Young vs Matt Sedan Welterweight - Chris George vs Luke Howlett Cruiserweight - Josh Webb vs Brett Peters Kaleb Barham v Loz Jocumsen (Corporate) Brandon Spain v Shaun Parry (Corporate) ?Smithy Brings the big fights 2? will take place on October 19 at Rumours international in Toowoomba. Tickets are $75 for ringside and $45 for general and are selling fast at Smithy?s Gym and the Hotel Norville in Toowoomba.
