WORLD # 2 BANTAMWEIGHT SORSINGYU AND HIS TEAM TO ARRIVE OCT. 16 FOR WORLD TITLE FIGHT WITH BANAL

PhilBoxing.com

Pungluang Sorsingyu.
WBO World # 2 contender Pungluang Sorsingyu and his team from Thailand is scheduled to arrive early in the Philippines for his scheduled world championship bout with WBO World # 1 Bantamweight AJ ?Bazooka? Banal of the Philippines.

Sorsingyu?s team composed of Onesongchai representative Michel Du and coaches Phanlop Sriphraiwan, Mueankhit Saensuk and Anirut Chuebang will depart Bangkok, Thailand 9:25 AM Tuesday October 16, 2012 via Philippine Airlines flight PR 753. They are scheduled to land Manila, Philippines 2:10 PM the same day.

Sorsingyu and Banal will be going at each other to try to win the WBO World Bantamweight title vacated by then champion Jorge Arce of Mexico who moved up to the super bantamweight division to try to get a crack at another world title.

Last month, it was published in a report that Sorsingyu has been in deep and intense training at an army base in Thailand and seems to be very confident going into this title fight with the higher ranked Banal.

Banal on the other hand has likewise been training non-stop at the ALA Gym in the Philippines under the tutelage of coaching siblings Edmund and Edito Villamor together with a team of other coaches handling his nutrition, strength and conditioning and others.

The Pinoy Pride XVII Philippines vs The World headliner between Banal and Sorsingyu is part of a triple championship mega-boxing event promoted by ALA Promotions.

The two other title fights will involve the ring return of the charismatic Rey ?Boom Boom? Bautista of the Philippines against hard-nosed Mexican Daniel Ruiz for the WBO International Featherweight title and the exciting WBO International Light Welterweight championship between Jason ?El nino? Pagara of the Philippines vs the undefeated Miguel Antoine of Barbados.

This boxing super-card will feature 6 different nationalities against our fighting Filipino pugilists. Countries represented will be Thailand, Mexico, Barbados, Africa, Indonesia and Japan.

Pinoy Pride XVII Philippines vs The World is happening at the newly-completed and state of the art SM Mall of Asia ARENA on October 20, 2012 ad tickets are available at SM Super Malls Customer Care Counters and SM Cinema?s in the country.
