POWER PUNCHER JEFFREY FONTANEZ LOOKS FOR ANOTHER KNOCKOUT AGAINST JOHN NATER IN THE "S?LO BOXEO TECATE" MAIN EVENT ON OCTOBER 13 FROM JUNCOS, PUERTO RICO

PhilBoxing.com

BRAULIO SANTOS TO BATTLE JOHN ALBERTO MOLINA IN CO-FEATUREDFIGHT FROM COLISEO RAFAEL G. AMALBERT

LOS ANGELES, October 4 - If Caguas' Jeffrey Fontanez has made one thing clear in just eight professional fights, it's that you better not blink, because you might miss something. On Saturday, October 13 at Coliseo Rafael G. Amalbert in Juncos, Puerto Rico, hard-hitting John Nater of Bayamon, Puerto Rico will attempt to stop the rise of 20-year-old knockout artist Fontanez in the eight-round main event of TeleFutura's "S?lo Boxeo Tecate."

In the eight-round co-featured bout, Carolina, Puerto Rico's undefeated Braulio Santos battles Colombian veteran John Alberto Molina.

Fontanez vs. Nater, an eight-round lightweight bout, is promoted by Golden Boy Promotions, Miguel Cotto Promotions and H2 Entertainment and sponsored by Cerveza Tecate. On fight night, doors open at 6:00 p.m., the first bell rings at 6:30 p.m. and the TeleFutura broadcast begins at 12:00 a.m. ET/11:00 p.m. PT.

Tickets, priced at $10, $15 and $25 are available for purchase at all Ticketcenter locations or by phone at (787) 792-5000.

Heading the list of top prospects from the island of Puerto Rico, Jeffrey Fontanez

(8-0, 7 KO's) isn't much for slow starts in the ring. The winner of six fights by first round knockout, including an exciting finish of Pedro Hernandez in his last fight in June of this year, the 20-year-old always comes ready to fight from the time the first bell rings, earning him a growing fan base with each win.

21-year old John Nater (11-3, 8 KO's) has shown not only impressive power as a professional, but also the ability to come back from adversity, as he bounced back from losses to unbeatens Brandon Bennett and Juan Carlos Abreu earlier this year with September wins over Franklin Frias and Ambiorix Ciriaco that came just four days apart. On October 13, the Bayamon native will look to hand fellow islander Fontanez the first defeat of his career.

A vicious puncher that can take opponents out with shots to the body or head, 22-year-old Braulio Santos (7-0, 6 KO's) enjoys going home early and he's willing to put the work in to make that desire a reality. A professional since 2011, he's looking to make a statement against Molina on October 13.

Traveling to Puerto Rico on October 13 with one intention - to put a "1" in Santos' loss column, 35-year-old John Alberto Molina (32-20-3, 20 KO's) is a hard-nosed competitor who has won four of his last six fights, showing a late burst of energy that has him in top form heading into this pivotal matchup. With half of his knockout wins coming two rounds or less, this one has the potential to produce some serious fireworks and steal the show.
