NBA --- Bulls Media Day By Scott Marsiglio PhilBoxing.com Mon, 01 Oct 2012  CHICAGO -- Ready for the running of the Bulls? Well, its almost here. As it begins training camp for the 2012-13 NBA season, the Chicago Bulls will hold its annual Media Day on Monday, October 1 beginning at I pm (early Tuesday morning in the Philippines). The annual event takes place at the Bulls practice facility, the Sheri L. Berto Center in Deerfield, a suburb some 25 miles north of Chicago. Bulls players, head coach Tom Thibodeau and Bulls general manager Gar Forman will be available to the media for interviews and photos during Media Day. The Bulls will begin their first practice session on Tuesday, October 2. It will be followed by two-a-day sessions (9 am to 12 noon and 5 pm to 7 pm) on October 3 and 4. Coach Thibodeau and GM Forman as well as Bulls players will be available for interviews after each practice. The Bulls have seven preseason games on their calendar, They host the Memphis Grizzlies at the United Center (7 pm tip-off) on Tuesday, October 9. The following day, October 12, Friday, the Bulls test the Kyrie Irving-led Cleveland Cavaliers in Champaign, IL before visiting the Minnesota Timberwolves on October 13. Three of the final four of the Bulls final preseason games will be played at the U.C. -- against the Milwaukee Bucks on October 16 and against the Minnesota Timberwolves on October 19. The highlight of preseason is the match-up with Kevin Durant and the Oklahoma City Thunder, the reigning Western Conference champions, who will invade Chicago on Tuesday, October 23, To close out the preseason, the Bulls square off with the Indiana Pacers on October 26 in South Bend, Indiana. All single game tickets for the 2012-13 season goes on sale starting this October 5 at 11 am at Bulls.com, 1800-4NBA-TIX, the United Center and Ticketmaster.
