ALA PROMOTIONS FEATURES PEREZ PUBLIC WORK-OUT @ SM CITY CEBU TODAY PhilBoxing.com Wed, 19 Sep 2012 Pinoy Pride XVI Venezuelan Invasion Opponents Public Workout of ALA Promotions and ABS-CBN Sports will be featured 5 PM today SEPTEMBER 19,2012 at the SM City Cebu Entertainment Plaza of SM City Cebu. To be featured is former WBA World Flyweight Champion and current WBA world #4 Jean Piero Perez of Venezuela who will be challenging WBA World #7 Milan ?El Metodico? Melindo of the Philippines. Perez will be showcasing his speed and skills in todays public workout presentation and is expected to do some light training as he is now winding down his preparations for that ring date with Melindo come Saturday. Perez will be joined by his team former Bantamweight champion Carlos Arroyo who is here for the second time as he was already here once when Panamanian Rafael Concepcion bullied AJ Banal to a 10th round stoppage years back to wrest the Interim WBA Bantamweight belt. Also joining the former world champion will be his cut man and fitness trainer Lucio Lan Mejia who happens to be a former Olympic wrestler during his younger days. Completing the team is Panamanian and boxing fanatic Carlos Costa who is a fixture in big boxing matches the world over. Free Pinoy Pride XVI SM Tickets will be given away to luck boxing fans ad onlookers at the workout sessions that can answer simple trivia questions during the said event. Perez and his team will be awarding the said tickets to the lucky fans. Pinoy Pride XVI Venezuelan Invasion is happening on September 22, 2012 at the Waterfront Cebu Hotel and Casino and will be telecast the following day over ABS-CBN Channel 2 1015 AM and 615 Pm on Studio 23.
