Manila, Philippines ? Mexican Jose Alfredo Tirado met WBO #2 and current Flyweight WBO Youth champion Froilan ?The Sniper? Saludar in a final press-conference today held by Anson Tiu Co President of Shape-up Boxing Promotions, Inc.

Jose Alfredo Tirado, who arrived last night, informed that he had fought with two top rated Filipinos, namely Z Gorres and Prince Gabi in the States who were more experienced than Saludar. ?I will win this fight against Saludar and my promoter promised me that if I win he will give me a shot at a world title,? said Tirado.

Froilan Saludar, on the other hand, told the media, "I have a lot of respect with my opponent, but I will continue on winning and I will get a shot at either the IBF or the WBO, which ever comes first I will be ready."

In the undercard, a must see match between Mexican Miguel Tamayo (12 wins-3 losses-11KOs) is taking on Jerwin ?Pretty Boy? Ancajas (14 wins-1 loss-6KOs). Tamayo is known for knocking out his opponent and is the knock out King of Sonora Mexico however, Jerwin Ancajas has other ideas of defeating him.

With only one defeat by a close majority decision that he feels he won against Mark Anthony Geraldo in Cebu last March 17, Ancajas promised to showcase his talent by defeating the Mexican knock-out king by way of knock-out.

He informed that this will be his first big test against a foreign opponent however he informed that he is fit and ready for him.

Ancajas won via TKO on his last outing against John Paul Bautista stopping him in the 4th round in the Mandaluyong last August that gave him an opportunity to fight against Tamayo.

Also in the co-featured bout, comeback kid, Mighty Mark Melligen (22 wins-3losses-15KOs) will trade leathers with Thailand tough as nails Sapapetch Sor Sakaorat (28 wins-10 losses-18KOs) that surely will thrill the Manila crowd.

Melligen informed that he is now fighting under SGG Sports Promotions and have been promised for a WBO Asia Pacific Welterweight Regional championship that is currently vacant to be held on November if he does well this September 21st.

The fight billed as ?Kamao: Kidlat at Maso? will take place at the Cuneta Astrodome, Manila on Friday September 21st, the youthful Promoter Anson Tiu Co sees more up-coming events in association with SGG Sports Promotions and Joven Sports Promotions featuring Philippines top best prospect.
