DONYIL LIVINGSTON RETURNS SEPTEMBER 22 IN WOODLAND CALIFORNIA

September 11, 2012 - Palmdale California's middleweight prospect, Donyil Livingston (8-1-1, 4 KOs) makes his way back to the ring on September 22, 2012 when he faces Delano, California's, Paul Mendez (9-2-1, 3 KOs). The 8-round bout will take place at the Woodland Community Center located at 2001 East Street, in Woodland, California.
Looking to rebound from his first professional loss, Livingston wants to make a statement in his bout with Mendez, who is undefeated in his last four fights.
"Right now I'm 100% focused on winning this fight," said Livingston. "Mendez is a good fighter that is coming to fight as he too wants to make a statement I'm sure. After I suffered my first loss in my last fight, I realized that I must make a better commitment to my team and my training. I'll be ready to go on fight night."
"Donyil has the talent to be special in this sport," said Mario Yagobi, who promotes Livingston. "A fighter always learns a lot about himself after a loss. I know Donyil will fight hard and I believe he'll get back on track after this fight."
