JOSE ALFREDO TIRADO: ?I WANT SALUDAR'S WORLD RANKING?
PhilBoxing.com Thu, 06 Sep 2012
 Jose Alfredo Tirado.
Manila ? In a very intriguing match-up for an event taking place on Martial Law day promoted by Anson Tiu Co on September 21, 2012 at the Cuneta Astrodome, Mexico?s Flyweight champion Jose Alfredo Tirado is taking on Froilan ?The Sniper? Saludar in a Interim WBO Oriental regional bout.
Tirado has sent warning to Froilan Saludar saying he plans to take Saludar's lofty ranking away from him and bring the title back home to Mexico.
Mexico's International matchmaker / Promoter Fernando Dominguez informed that Tirado will come to fight and Saludar cannot take him lightly as he is after his world ranking.
Philippine Promoter Anson Tiu Co of Shape-Up Boxing Promotions has informed that he wants the Mexican participants to be well rested for a good showing, he wants them to arrive early and be well rested.
Veteran at age 32, Jose Alfredo Tirado has a record of 27 wins 11 defeats with 19 knockouts that surely makes him a formidable contender and a very dangerous fighter to be reckoned with.
He had fought and won against the likes of Christian Mijares, a former world champion, including a spectacular win against undefeated prospect Jesus Vazquez knocking him out in 3 rounds on November 7, 2008.
Also on his credentials, he had fought the likes of former World Challenger Luis Maldanado and Philippines own Z "the Dream" Gorres losing only by a close decision.
Froilan Saludar, (15 wins, 0 loss, 11 KOs) on the other hand, has not been tested yet against a fighter with a world class ability. However, it seems that he has the superior talent over his foe but this fight will surely be a real test for him.
