The Old Pacquiao will return against Bradley!
By Peter Maniatis PhilBoxing.com Sun, 13 Apr 2014
The fight build up and training camp are over for both fighters and both teams are confident of victory in the rematch Pac#Bradley 2.
Since both boxers last met in June 2012, Manny Pacquiao was Koed by Juan Manuel Marquez when he had the fight won and you could see it was only a matter of time before Pacquiao was going to score a KO win before he ran into a bomb right hand and was knocked out cold himself in a live by the sword and die by the sword style of fight.
Pacquiao then took a year off and then fought Brendon Rios in Macau, an opponent tailor made for Pacquiao to return back to the winners list. Pacquiao blanked Rios with a excellent display of boxing skills but not pressing for the KO because he was winning the fight easily but needed rounds in the ring after a 12 month lay off.
Bradley also has had 2 fights since they last met close to 2 years ago his fight with Ruslan Provodnikov nearly ended in a KO loss after Bradley chose to slug with the Russian beast and was lucky in the last round he did not get knocked out after being dropped for the 2nd time in the fight.
Bradley's last fight with Juan Manuel Marquez was Bradley's best fight to date and he looked impressive even rocking Marquez in the 12th round to take a point decision.
The old Manny Pacquiao will come back as this rematch with Bradley reminds me a lot of the Erik Morales vs Pacquiao fight when Manny lost the first bout on points but in the rematch with Morales on January 2006, Pacquiao came out smoking and eventually winning by TKO 10 rounds against the Mexican legend.
My final prediction for the rematch will be a more aggressive Pacqauio will hurt Bradley and land a late TKO stoppage in round 11 or 12. A TKO stoppage win will put Pacquiao back close the top of the pound for pound list where he naturally belongs.
