1st CK Ingles Chess Kings Set to Kick Off

The 1st CK (Clark Kenneth) Ingles Chess Kings, featuring the Open 2x2 Rapid Chess Team Tournament, will officially commence on June 6, 2026, at Robinsons Galleria, Ortigas Avenue corner EDSA, Mandaluyong City.
CK Ingles, a well-known sportsman and businessman, has put up a total cash prize pool of ₱70,000. The champion team will take home ₱21,000, while the runner-up will receive ₱12,000, and the third-place finisher gets ₱6,000.
Teams placing 4th and 5th will receive ₱5,000 and ₱4,000 respectively. Those finishing 6th and 7th will each get ₱3,000, while the 8th-place team will receive ₱2,000.
Special category prizes of ₱3,000 each are up for grabs for the top performers in these divisions: 1900 and below rating, 1850 and below rating, top female player, and players aged 50 and above.
Additionally, individual medals and cash prizes of ₱1,000 each will be awarded to the top performers on Board 1 and Board 2.
