DARREN ?DAZZLING? ASKEW AND SAMMY LEONE SIGN WITH SMITHY?S PROMOTIONS

English southpaw Darren ?Dazzling? Askew has signed the dotted line and joined force with Brendon Smith in a three year training and management deal.
Askew, who made the move to Australia last year, was in talks with Smith while searching for a new base to revitalize his boxing career and made no hesitation to moving to Toowoomba to train under Smith.
With a record of 6-6-1 as a professional and over 60 amateur fights, Askew has been in the ?trenches? of the British boxing ring and holds a career best TKO win over highly touted Dean Harrison who had a record of 15-1 at the time.
Also signing a three-year management deal with Brendon Smith of Smithy?s Promotions was Brisbane fighter Sammy Leone.
The former amateur National Indigenous champion, Golden Glove champion and bronze medalist at the Arafura Games, Leone has been in the professional ring with some of Australia?s best, which earned him the Queensland welterweight title in 2010.
A role model in and out of the ring, Leone is looking forward to taking his career in a new direction under the management of Brendon Smith.

?We are setting to try and get both boxers in the ring around February/March and I am looking forward to doing my best to create the best opportunities for all of my boxers. Our list of fighters is growing all the time and I expect a big 2013?.
