Broner demolishes DeMarco

It looked as though Antonio ?Tony? DeMarco (28-3-1 21KO) had a chance against undefeated champion Adrien ?The Problem? (Broner 25-0-0 21KO) during the opening round of their lightweight bout in Ceasars palace Atlantic City, NJ for the WBC Lightweight Title.
It was during the 4TH ROUND when Broner?s dominance started to show. His right hand kept landing solid on his opponent?s face. On the 5TH ROUND DeMarco stayed on the inside and even took a lot of uppercuts from Broner. It?s a round DeMarco barely survived and should have been a 10-8 round even without a knock down. And by the end of that round, DeMarco?s face started to swell up from all the beating that he took.
De Marco stayed alive and kept taking solid hits both upstairs and downstairs from Broner during the 6th round. It?s only a matter of time before he?s done and on the 8th round all those beating took its toll when DeMarco finally went down and referee Benjy Esteves Jr. took the opportunity to stop the fight. The official time was 1:49.
