CEBU - Johnriel Casimero will be treated to a hero?s welcome once again when he arrives tomorrow morning at the Mactan International Airport. Together with trainer Pingping Tepora and Promoter Sammy Gello-ani, the 22 year old year old from Ormoc City solidified his status as a legitimate world title holder when he defended his IBF jr. flyweight crown for the first time, beating Pedro Guevara by split decision in Mexico last weekend.
SGG Promotions has informed that there will be motorcade that will parade Team Casimero from the airport to his home base, the Omega Boxing Gym of Mabolo. There will be a press conference at the said gym upon their arrival.
Team Casimero is expected to arrive between 10:30 to 10:50 A.M. tomorrow.
