CONCEPCION-VERANO HEADLINES 'IN THIS CORNER'

Philippines top contender Bernabe Concepcion puts his ratings on the line when he takes on dangerous Jake Verano in today's In This Corner on RPN-9 starting at 12 noon.
The 10-round encounter, which took place in Binangonan City, Rizal, is presented by Ginebra San Miguel and in part by PCSO and Lipovitan, with Gov. Ito Ynares and Mayor Cesar Ynares providing the needed support.
Concepcion, currently rated No. 1 in the junior featherweight division, is priming up for his stints abroad to showcase his skills against foreign opponents, but Verano, a native of Valencia, Bukidnon will play the role of a spoiler
