The blockbuster night, broadcast live (7:30 pm EDT/6:30 CST/4:30 pm PST) on ProBoxTV from College Park Center at the University of Texas in Arlington, Texas, and presented by Garry Jonas (Pro Box Promotions) and Sampson Lewkowicz (Sampson Boxing), also pits undefeated super middleweight knockout specialist Weljon “Triggerman” Mindoro (16-0-1, 16 KOs) from Bacoor, Cavite, Philippines, against proven Mexican warrior Elias “Latin Kid” Espadas (23-8-1, 16 KOs) from Merida, Yucatán, in the 10-round co-featured bout. And in a very special eight-round lightweight attraction, Alan “Kid Kansas” Garcia (17-1, 12 KOs) of Ulysses, Kansas, will face Bryan Jimenez (18-3, 10 KOs) of Nicaragua. A native of nearby Fort Worth, 30-year-old Edward Vazquez started boxing at eight years old and compiled a final amateur record of 82-8, including winning the Ringside Amateur World Championship, the Texas Golden Gloves Championship and the USA State Boxing Championship before turning professional in 2016. From Fort Worth, Texas, the all-action Vazquez trains under Tony Cabello at Reyes Boxing Gym. In his most-recent performance, Vasquez looked sensational in dismantling Venezuelan slugger Grimardi Machuca in five brutal rounds on ProBoxTV air in February of this year. A native of Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico, Daniel Lugo went 3-1 in his first four bouts after turning pro in 2015 and then won his next 21 consecutive fights. Lugo was last seen in March 2025, stopping countryman Francisco Javier Franco Villa in six rounds. In his career-best performance, Lugo fought to a controversial majority draw with former world titleholder Mauricio Lara in 2024, a fight most thought Lugo won. Several Future Stars series bouts featuring the next generation of contenders and champions, will go down to open the evening. In an eight-round welterweight bout, Guillermo Keb (14-0, 6 KOs) of Hunucma, Yucatán, Mexico, will face James Bernadin (13-4-1, 6 KOs) of Lancaster, Pennsylvania via Haiti; and Emilio Garcia (4-0, 4 KOs) of Laredo, Texas, will face Steven Thomas (4-1, 2 KOs) of South Carolina in a six-round welterweight battle. In a six-round super welterweight matchup, Malachi Ross (4-0, 3 KOs) of Grandview, Missouri, will look to stay unbeaten against Derrick Whitley (9-6-2) of Springfield, Massachusetts. In the night’s televised opener, Carlos Martinez (4-0, 1 KO) of Valenciana, Spain will take on also undefeated Jesus De La Toba (5-0, 5 KOs) of Mulege, Baja California Sur, Mexico, in a four-round super featherweight battle.
