SORIANO GIVES PHILIPPINES DOUBLE WIN IN THAILAND

Minimum weight Ivan Soriano has followed up Larry ?Bon Jovi? Canillas PABA super bantamweight title win with a 2nd round knockout of Durong Sor Vorasing in Ratchanaburi, some 80 miles west of Bangkok, to give the Philippines an unusual double win in Thailand.
Soriano who is managed by Dr. Rajan Yraola and is trained by Jun Agrabio dropped the Thai with a solid right hand in round two and the Thai referee counted him out.
With the impressive win the 22 year old Soriano improves to 9-1 with 4 knockouts.
Soriano was coming off an 8th round TKO win over Marvin Avila last March 25 while the 18 year old Durong scored a sixth round decision over Chartchai Sithsaithong last August 17,2010.
