Showdown of champions in Dalaguete on Sunday

Boxing fans in the southern Cebu town of Dalaguete will get to witness quality boxing action this Sunday in a fight card featuring Philippine Boxing Federation (PBF )title holders. Headlining the event will be Marlon Tapales, who will enter the ring bearing the name of Thai promoter Naris Singwangcha. He will face Charlie Cabilla in a ten round flyweight contest. Tapales won the Phil. junior flywieght tile last year but is now moving up in weight. Cabilla saw action during the Sinulog, and wound up with a technical draw against Along Denoy.
Also seeing action are PBF featherweight champion T.I. Yamagata Aguello versus PBF Lightweight champion Gabejan E. Singwangcha in a ten round non-title contest.
Marco Singwangcha will make the first defense of his Philippine Boxing Federation (PBF) superflyweight title against Ricardo Roa.
Pumar Singwangcha vs Noel Adelmita (10 rounds ), Lobert Bayo vs. Christian Saga (6 rounds), Jerich Chavez Singwangcha vs Jayson Inso (6 rounds), Marlon Sandoval vs Henry Acha (4 rounds) and Bobbie Sentillas Singwangcha vs Jimboy Rosales (4 rounds).
This fight card is promoted by Rex ?Wakee? Salud, Aljoe Jaro and Thai promoter Naris Singwangcha in cooperation with the Dalaguete local gov't headed by Mayor Allan Cesante. Also expected as guests are Thai matchmaker Narong Sentrakul and John David Treharne.
