BAUTISTA TO SHOW BOOM IN SM CITY PUBLIC WORK OUT

PhilBoxing.com

Filipino featherweight Rey ?Boom Boom? Bautista is scheduled to display his power in the PINOY PRIDE 3: THE REMATCH pre event PUBLIC WORK-OUT show at the SM City Cebu Atrium 3 PM this Saturday January 22, 2011.

As part of Asia?s busiest boxing promotional company ALA Promotions and ABS-CBN Sports campaign for their PINOY PRIDE mega events, the Boholano Banger Bautista will be showing off to the public his power and skills that once again be put to the test in their much awaited grudge rematch between Mexican Alejandro ?Zorrito? Barrera.

Their first meeting ended up in a controversial 4th round TKO win awarded to Bautista when the officials stopped the fight due to a severe cut on Barrera?s eyelid that was ruled coming from a legitimate punch.

The Barrera camp though thought otherwise as they screamed in protest and demanded for an immediate rematch which the Bautista camp obliged. This rematch is guaranteed to be an all out war as both fighters believe they will come out on top the next time they meet.

Joining Boom Boom in this Saturdays PINOY PRIDE 3: THE REMATCH PUBLIC WORK-OUT are the fast rising Filipino lightweight prospect Jason Pagara who has been a fixture in television boxing events in the country and the newly crowned Pan Asian Boxing Association (PABA) Bantamweight Super Champion Roli Gasca.

Pagara is scheduled to face Indonesian Billy Sumba in a 10 round non title fight in the supporting main event of PINOY PRIDE 3. The 19 year old Pagara who has showed veteran-like poise during his previous fights is coming into this bout with a 3 fight knock-out streak with the last 3 opponents not going past the 2nd round.

Completing the cast of this Saturday?s PUBLIC WORK-OUT pre event show is the newly crowned PABA Bantamweight Super Champion Roli Gasca of Cebu. Gasca who hails from the quiet southern town of Barili Cebu defeated WBA World Number 3 Bantamweight and then PABA Bantamweight Super Champ Tabtimdaeng Na Rachawat of Thailand infront of his fellow Thai?s in their hometown of Buriram, Thailand.

The PINOY PRIDE 3: THE REMATCH PUBLIC WORK-OUT organizers will be giving away complimentary tickets throughout the show and will likewise be having surprise numbers and guests.

PINOY PRIDE 3: THE REMATCH is scheduled at the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino on January 29, 2011 Saturday 6 PM and is brought to you by ALA Promotions and ABS-CBN Sports with the support of the Cebu City Government of Mayor Mike Rama, SM City Cebu, Mooon Caf?, Parkmall, Sports Exchange Bar and Grill and
Fungisol.
