The weather continued to be cloudy with occasional showers but the streets of Cebu City were still filled with revellers during the Sinulog festival?s Grand Parade. The boxing crowd also showed up the Gaisano Country Mall Carpark to witness well fought professional and amateur bouts.

Flyweights Along Denoy of the ALA Gym and Charlie Cabilla of the Raul Kaamino Stable of Cagayan de Oro fought to a four round technical draw in the main event. The fast paced action was interrupted by a clash of heads in the third round resulting in a gash on Denoy?s forehead. Cabilla was deducted a point and action resumed. But blood continued to spurt from the cut prompting the ring doctor to recommend a halt to the bout at the 42 second mark.
