EX-IBF WORLD CHAMP TAMARA PUBLIC WORK-OUT WEDNESDAY

PhilBoxing.com

Ex-IBF Light Flyweight World Champion Carlos ?El Olympico" Tamara will be having a Public Work-Out as part of ALA Promotions and ABS-CBN Sports presentation of the highly anticipated PINOY PRIDE 2: Best of the Best mega-boxing event at the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino on Saturday the 27th of November 2010.

The United States based Colombian who is also known as ?El Olympico? because of his stellar career as an amateur at the Olympics is going to give Cebuano boxing fans a glimpse of his boxing skills in a Public Work-out to be held at Block 11 (Where the Christmas Bazaar is) at the I.T. Park in Lahug, Cebu City 5 PM Wednesday.

Tamara is set to meet Filipino boxing prodigy Milan ?El Metodico? Melindo in a 12 round non-title fight which promises to be a slam bang affair since both fighters are known not to back-up when challenged.

Tamara showed so much heart in beating our Filipino former world champion Brian ?The Hawaiian Punch? Villoria in tremendous fashion being out-boxed the whole night only to rally back to snatch the victory from Villoria?s hands in the dying minutes of the last round.

The former world champion Tamara will be arriving with his team early morning Wednesday November 24 and will be having lunch with the local press at Golden Cowrie Restaurant in Lahug at 11 A.M.

They will proceed to Block 11 at the I.T. Park in Lahug for the pre-event public work-out at 5 PM.

Also to join Tamara at the I.T. Park this afternoon are the talented and sultry IBC Pussycats of the International Bar Complex who likewise are scheduled to perform some dance numbers for the people in attendance.

PINOY PRIDE 2: Best of the Best mega boxing event is presented to you by ALA Promotions and ABS-CBN Sports and supported by the City Government of Cebu headed by Honorable Mayor Mike Rama, Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino, International Bar Complex, Mooon Caf?, Golden Cowrie Restaurant, Sports Exchange Bar and Grill and your official knock-out station Y101FM Cebu - Always First. - PR
