PINOY PRIDE 2: FLORANTE CONDES HIGHLY MOTIVATED

PhilBoxing.com

Former IBF Minimum weight Champion Florante ?Little Pacquiao? Condes will once again be in the spotlight come November 27, 2010 at the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino for ALA Promotions and ABS-CBN Sports presentation of PINOY PRIDE 2: Best of the Best.

The ?Little Pacquiao? who hails from Romblon came back from a one year lay-off as the supporting undercard of the very successful Philippines vs The World mega-card of ALA Promotions and ABS-CBN Sports last August 28, 2010 and did not show any signs of ring rust. He impressively won via unanimous decision against Indonesian Sofyan Effendi in an 8 round comeback fight showing his patented speed and power.

Condes who attended the PINOY PRIDE PRESS LAUNCH early this November said ?I am very excited to fight again especially in Cebu and I would like to thank Sir Tony and ALA Promotions President Michael Aldeguer for giving me another opportunity to do what I love to do best and that is boxing.?

The Filipino Condes was supposed to train at the ALA Gym in Cebu for this fight but a family emergency quickly changed his plans. He said that ?I would have wanted to do my preparations at the ALA Gym but unfortunately something happened. My mother lost a leg and I have to train home close to her so I could at least be with her for support. I am more motivated because of this.?

Florante Condes W 24 (KO 20) L 5 D 1 will be facing Japanese warrior Kenichi Horikawa W 20 (KO 4) L 8 (1) D 1 who is fresh from a unanimous decision win over fellow Japanese Yuma Iwahashi last October 21, 2010.

PINOY PRIDE 2: Best of the Best is a sports presentation of ALA Promotions and ABS-CBN Sports and is also brought to you by the City Government of Cebu, Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino, SM City Cebu, International Bar Complex, Mooon Caf?, Sports Exchange Bar and Grill and Y101 FM Always First.
