TAKAYAMA IN SHAPE FOR AFRICAN BATTLE!

Japan's former world champion Katsunari Takayama has vowed to bring "good news" after his title eliminator on September 1 against Tshepo Lefele at the Carnival City in Gauteng, South Africa.
Ken Matsumoto, who manages Takayama, told Philboxing.com moments ago that his protege is in the best condition possible for the fight, and will bring "good news to Philippine boxing fans", referring to the boxer's Pinoy fans who have seen him train at the ALA Gym.
Takayama's trainer Hideki Aoki is also confident of a win in enemy territory, despite the fact that officials for the fight are all South Africans.
