Denkaosan defeats Jun Eraham

One-time World Boxing Association title-challenger Denkaosan Chaovichit of Thailand retained his regional title with a unanimous decision win over Filipino Jun Eraham last Friday, October 7, in Nakorn Phanom, Thailand.
It was Denkaosan's sixth defense of the title since he regained it with a fifth-round knockout over Franklin Macalibo last year.
Previously, Denkaosan had been the long-reigning PABA flyweight boss, but had to relinquish the title in order to challenge in late-2002.
Prior to the fight, Eraham saw action in Cebu, toying and easily dismantling Bohol's Isidro Balabat via 6th-round TKO on September 17 in Mandaue City.
