DONAIRE TOUCHES DOWN IN SAN FRANCISCO!

Moments ago, world flyweight champion Nonito Donaire and his father-trainer Nonito Sr arrived in San Francisco on a PAL flight from Manila, ready and primed up for the big title defense on December 1 (Dec. 2 in RP) against Luis Maldonado in Connecticut.
"We just landed at SFO!" reported Donaire Sr to Philboxing.com.
According to the elder Donaire, his son slept practically the entire flight, and was well-rested after the long journey.
"He slept some nine hours during the flight," said Donaire Sr.
Tomorrow, the reigning IBF and IBO flyweight king will continue to train in the morning and in the afternoon despite being a Sunday.
"We are not taking Maldonado lightly. We will continue to work while here," added Nonito Sr, who said that they are slated to fly to Connecticut on Tuesday.
