CLASH OF CHAMPIONS 3 WEIGH-IN AT OLYMPIAN CITY OCT. 6

THE official weigh-in of the sold-out ?Clash of Champions 3? boxing event is set on October 6 at 1 p.m. at the Olympian City in Kowloon, Hong Kong.

This was announced by promoter Jay Lau of DEF Promotions.

?The physicals and commissioning paperwork, however, will be held at the Pacific Room, second floor of the Island Pacific Hotel starting at 8:30 a.m.,? said Lau.

After the weigh-in, the rules meeting of all coaches and ring officials and the media interviews will follow at 2 p.m.

The first fight on Oct. 7 will start at 5 p.m. at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center.

The CC3 card, which is co-promoted by Bob Arum of Top Rank Promotions, is presented by TFI Digital Media.

It is sponsored by Tai Hing Catering Group, NIKE, CMGE, Huawei, Mass Mutual, Olympian City and Hong Kong Broadband.

The main event is the championship fight between defending WBO International super flyweight champion Rex ?The Wonder Kid? Tso (21-0-0) of Hong Kong and Japanese challenger Kohei ?Tough Boy? Kono (33-10-1) for 12 rounds.

The co-main event is the championship fight for the vacant WBO Oriental super featherweight crown between Takuya Watanabe (32-7-1) and Leshan Li (13-2-1) for 10 rounds.

Pitted in the undercard are:

10 rds. - super bantamweight Ayumi Goto (7-0) vs. Kirti (3-0)

8 rds. - light flyweight Raymond Poon Kaiching (3-1-0) vs. Frengky Rohi (5-0-1)

6 rds. - welterweight Nick Frese (6-0) vs. Prabhjot Singh (7-1-1)

6 rds. - middleweight Tom Taw (3-1-0) vs. Osidsorn Kesornsombat (9-3-0)

4 rds. ? super lightweight Nibesh Ghale (0-1-0) vs. Prell Tupas (10-32-5)
4 rds. ? light flyweight Sandy Lam (1-1-0) vs. Nadya Nakhoir (0-2-0)
