DULAY TO FIGHT AGAIN IN US ON SEPT. 30 By Lito delos Reyes PhilBoxing.com Tue, 12 Sep 2017 ![]() PROMISING Recky ?The Terror? Dulay (10W-2L-0D, 7 KOs) of the Philippines is again fighting on September 30 in the United States. Dulay, who is now managed by fellow Filipino Rey ?Cacoi? Rodis Jr. of the RED Boxing International, is facing former WBA International super featherweight champion Dardan Zenunaj (13W-3L-0D, 10KOs) of Albania at the House of Blues in Boston. Dulay and Zenunaj are fighting for the vacant NABO super featherweight title in 10 rounds. It is presented by the Golden Boy Promotions and will be televised on ESPN Sports. ?It will be an exciting one simply because the opponent Darjan likes to come in and that?s exactly how Dulay can finish him,? said Rodis. Dulay previously scored a 3rd round knockout against then-undefeated Jaime Aboleda (10-0) last July 15 at the Forum in Inglewood to make his presence felt in his first comeback fight in the US. Dulay, who is now training at the Leo Sta. Cruz Gym, is now ranked No. 1 super featherweight contender of the North American Boxing Organization (NABO) and rated no. 8 by the World Boxing Association (WBA). ?I would say this is a fight of the year contender because of the boxers? style,? added Rodis, who also co-owns the New Champ Promotion. Meanwhile, the 30-year old Zenunaj also won his last fight via a 2nd round knockout against Amiran Abuladze last February 12 at the Centre Sportif des Ascenseurs in Theiu. Zenunaj captured the vacant WBA International super featherweight title by knocking out Karim Chakim in the 9th round in 2014. He also won the vacant International Boxing Organization (IBO) International super featherweight title by stopping Hovhannes Zhamkochyan in the first round in 2013. In his only seventh ring assignment, Zenunaj took the vacant Belgium featherweight crown via a 2nd round knockout win on Andras Varga in 2012. Zenunaj, however, lost to Tevin Farmer by a unanimous decision in their battle for the NABF super featherweight title last December 12 in Philadelphia.
