ALA FIGHTERS TO JOIN THE ST. IGNATIUS RUN

ALA fighters led by world champions Donnie ?Ahas? Nietes and Milan ?El Metodico? Melindo are supporting this year?s St. Ignatius Run organized by SHS?AdC Class of 1992.
The event, which will be held on July 23 at SM City Cebu, is a fundraiser for the benefit of SHS-AdC?s Blue Plate project, a school-based feeding program, and Batch 92?s scholarship program.
?It feels good to be participating in these kinds of events. It?s a great way to promote a healthy lifestyle we should all aim for, while helping those in need with where the proceeds of the run will go to,? said Nietes, who is the current IBF world flyweight champion and longest reigning Filipino world champion.
For newly crowned IBF world light flyweight king Milan Melindo, joining the run will "hopefully help inspire and convince the younger generation to have clean fun and be involved in worthy causes.?
This annual event, featuring its 7th edition, is open to all runners and fitness enthusiasts. Race categories are 21k, 12k, 6k, 3k and 1k. There is also a special category for SHS-AdC Students for 6k, 3k, and 1k.
Raffle and prizes will be given out to the race participants.
Registration is still ongoing at Loalde SM City Cebu, Loalde SM Seaside City, Loalde Ayala Center Cebu and Runnr Ayala.
