PACQUIAO STARTS TRAINING WITH ROACH

11 time world boxing champion senator Manny Pacquiao had his first training session with Freddie Roach and Justin Fortune today, Monday, at the Elorde gym in Manila.
Roach told me he expects Manny to spar 70 rounds for his fight with Horn and plan to arrive in Brisbane 2 weeks out, not 1 week out, to Brisbane as Team Pacquiao are planning.
Manny put in 10 rounds on the punch mitts today with Roach and then he trained for close to 3 hours again after his mitts work with Roach and straight after training he ate his chicken and rice inside the gym complex private room.
Manny later was scheduled to go to the Senate for a late afternoon session for his work as a senator.
Freddie Roach told me he is expecting a tough fight from Horn and will not be taking any short cuts with Senator Manny's training. They plan to fly in unbeaten Australian world rated boxer George Kambosis Jr to spar with Senator Manny in Manila in the next few weeks.
