Davao Boxing Showdown weigh-in at Marco Polo Hotel May 11 PhilBoxing.com Wed, 10 May 2017  THE official weigh-in of the ?Davao Boxing Showdown? in the 3rd GAB Philippine Boxing Convention will be held tomorrow (May 11) at 10 a.m. at the Marco Polo Hotel in Davao City. Games and Amusements Board (GAB) Chairman Abraham Kahlil Mitra will spearhead the weigh-in of the 13 bouts including three championship fights. Asian Boxing Federation (ABF) president Naris Singwancha from Thailand and World Boxing Federation (WBF) supervisor Lito delos Reyes will be supervising the separate ABF and WBF title fights. Former WBO Asia Pacific Youth flyweight champion Jake ?D? Twins? Bornea of the Sanman-Amoy Stable from General Santos City will face Renerio Arizala of the Jonathan Penalosa Boxing Stable from Mandaluyong City for the vacant WBF Inter-Continental Super Flyweight title on May 12 at the Waterfront Insular Hotel Pavilion in Lanang. Philippine Boxing Federation (PBF) super bantamweight champion Ryan ?The Fire Fist? Lumacad of MP Highland Gym from La Trinidad, Benguet and super flyweight champion Renoel Pael of Wacky Salud Gym of Cebu will clash for the vacant ABF super bantamweight title. Rosekie ?Kapre? Cristobal of MB Stable Panabo City fights Alvin Makiling of Cotabato for the vacant PBF bantamweight title. The boxing presentation is part of the 3-day convention, which will be attended by the country's boxing promoters, managers, ring officials and stakeholders on May 11-13 at the Marco Polo Hotel.
