LEAGUE OF FISTS SEPT 26 FIGHT RESULTS

SHANGHAI, CHINA - The League of Fists held their fourth fight day for the month of September last Saturday with boxers fighting in the featherweight to super middleweight categories.

The crowd inside the Mixing Room of the Mercedes Benz Arena was once again treated to ten entertaining bouts in this tournament style professional boxing competition involving fighters from mainland China.

Cheng Bingbing and Xiao Qingbing opened the festivities with Cheng prevailing by unanimous decision. Judges Yang Hong, Salven Lagumbay and Feng Yao Chen all it 39-37.

Two very quick bouts followed ? Alimu Wushouer scored a TKO win over Yang Mingyao in 34 seconds. Yang was sent down in the blue corner and looked glassy-eyed forcing Referee Sungworn Klungboomkrong to call a halt to the bout.

Kang Haibo pounced on Chang Han right at the opening bell and landed a series of hard head shots. Chang was covering up but did not punch back and started to turn his back prompting Referee Danrex Tapdasan to stop the fight. Time ? 24 seconds.



Zulpikar Maimaitiali beat Fu Songlin by unanimous decision. Fu sported a hematoma on his left eye after the bout. The scores of Salven Lagumbay, Han Hongxiang and Ji Nai Bin were all 40-36.



Mai Mintian survived a knockdown in the final round and rallied to stop Wu Minghui with seconds left in the fourth. Referee Sawaeng Thaweekoon stopped the fight when Mai pinned Wu on the ropes and landed a brutal volley of clean head shots.

Tan Jiaocai won by unanimous decision over Qiao Yang. Scores ? Salven Lagumbay, Jin Nai Bin and Zhao Yu Bin all had it 39-37. Zhang Yifeng prevailed by unanimous verdict over Abudusalamu Keremu, Zhao Yu Bin, Jin Nai Bin and Sungworn Klungboomkrng all scored it 39-37. Liu Yang beat Maheshati Bolatihan by unanimous decision. Scores ? Feng Yao Chen ? 39-37, Yang Hong ? 39-37,Han Hongxiang ? 40-36.

The last two bouts ended in draws. Yakupu Jumai and Yang Xinyu fought to majority draw. Scores ? Zhao Yu Bin ? 39-37, Jin Nai Bin and Sungworn Klungboomkrong had it 38-38. Also for Xia Zhilin and Jin Yangcheng, scores- Zhao Yu Bin and Sawaeng Thaweekoon ? 38-38,Jin Nai Bin 39-37.

The fights were officiated by the Professional Boxing Commission (PBC) of China.

The League of Fists is the latest boxing endeavor from SECA and Top Rank. The league will have another round of bouts in Shanghai this October.
