Boxing Fest Kicks off Saturday, July 18, 5:30 p.m. at The Cotai Arena at The Venetian Macao

MACAO, CHINA (July 16, 2015) -- Undefeated No. 1 contender, CESAR "El Distinto" CUENCA, who is just three victories away from tying Rocky Marciano's hallowed 49-0 record, and his opponent, undefeated No. 2 contender "IK" LIAN HUI YANG, who is attempting to become China's second professional boxer to win a world title, hosted the final press conference today at The Venetian? Macao before their world championship fight this Saturday. Cuenca (46-0, 2 KOs), from Chaco, Argentina, and Yang (18-0, 13 KOs), from Dalian, China, will be battling for the vacant IBF Junior Welterweight World Championship in the main event of ?Victory at The Venetian,? Saturday, July 18 at The Cotai Arena at The Venetian Macao.

Joining Cuenca and Yang at today?s press conference were former Fighter of the Year and five-division world champion NONITO "Filipino Flash" DONAIRE (34-3, 22 KOs), from General Santos City, Philippines; undefeated No. 4 world-rated super flyweight contender REX "The Wonder Kid" TSO (16-0, 9 KOs) from Hong Kong; No. 1 lightweight contender DENIS "Genghis Khan" SHAFIKOV (35-1-1, 18 KOs) of Chelyabinsk, Russia; 2012 U.S. Olympian and undefeated super lightweight contender JOSE RAM?REZ (14-0, 11 KOs) of Avenal, California.; and Hall of Fame promoter BOB ARUM.

"Ten different countries from five continents are represented by the 16 fighters on the card. Top Rank is very proud to be working again with Sands China Ltd. in presenting another world championship event at The Cotai Arena at The Venetian Macao. Lian Hui Yang has worked very hard with Freddie Roach and Justin Fortune in training for his world championship fight against fellow undefeated contender Cesar Cuenca. I know he will make China proud as he tries to bring the world title home. All of these fights will be seen in the U.S. on the same day, giving further exposure to this great venue and these exciting fighters."

Promoted by Top Rank? in association with Tecate and SECA and presented by The Venetian Macao, remaining tickets to the July 18 Victory at The Venetian can be purchased via Cotai Ticketing?; prices start at HKD/MOP 180, with ferry and hotel packages also available. Victory at The Venetian kicks off at 5:30 p.m., with the first fight beginning at 6:00 p.m. at The Cotai Arena at The Venetian Macao.
