Victory at The Venetian Fighters Make Grand Arrival at The Venetian Macao / Rapturous boxing fans welcome their favourite fighters ahead of Saturday?s multi-bout event

It was excitement all around when seven of the Victory at The Venetian boxers arrived at the main lobby of The Venetian? Macao earlier this evening. The official welcome was part of the lead-up to Victory at The Venetian, the multi-bout boxing extravaganza that kicks off at the Cotai Arena this Saturday, July 18. In attendance were headliners Ik Yang and C?sar "El Distinto" Cuenca, along with, Hong Kong sensation Rex Tso and local fighter Ng Kuok Kun, among others. On hand to welcome the contenders were a large group of boxing fans as well as Sands China Ltd executives, all keen to get a glimpse of their favourite boxers and offer well-wishes for the upcoming event. Donaire will face Anthony Settoul (20-3, 8 KOs) of France in a 10-round super bantamweight bout.


China?s "Ik" Yang Lian Hui (18-0, 13 KOs) makes his entrance at the main lobby of The Venetian Macao Wednesday evening where he was welcomed by Sands China executives and a crowd of excited fans. The undefeated No. 2 world-rated junior welterweight contender gets his first world title shot against undefeated No. 1 contender C?sar "El Distinto" Cuenca (46-0, 2 KOs) of Argentina for the vacant International Boxing Federation (IBF) junior welterweight world championship as the main event of Victory at The Venetian, Saturday, July 18, at 5:30 p.m. at The Venetian Macao's Cotai Arena. Argentine C?sar "El Distinto" Cuenca (46-0, 2 KOs), the undefeated No. 1 contender for the vacant International Boxing Federation (IBF) junior welterweight world championship will take on China?s "Ik" Yang Lian Hui (18-0, 13 KOs) as the main event of Victory at The Venetian, Saturday, July 18, at 5:30 p.m. at The Venetian Macao's Cotai Arena. Russian fighter Denis "Genghis Khan" Shafikov (35-1-1, 18 KOs) arrives at the main lobby of The Venetian Macao Wednesday evening. The 30-year-old will take on Roy Mukhlis (18-3-2, 12 KOs) of Indonesia in a 10-round bout.


U.S. Olympian Jose Ramirez (14-0, 11 KOs) arrives at the The Venetian Macao Wednesday evening. He will fight Ryusei Yoshida (26-7, 13 KOs) of Japan in an eight-round lightweight fight.


Hong Kong sensation Rex ?The Wonder Kid? Tso (16-0, 9 KOs) makes his grand arrival at the main lobby of The Venetian Macao Wednesday evening. The undefeated super flyweight fighter will take on Thai fighter Khunkhiri Wisaruth (21-10-1, 13 KOs) in an eight-round bout.


Local favourite ?The Macao Kid? Ng Kuok Kun (7-0, 3 KOs) makes his arrival at the main lobby of The Venetian Macao Wednesday evening. The undefeated super welterweight faces Thailand?s Phompetch Gym (6-2, 3KOs).
