NBA Summer League -- Bobby Ray Parks Jr draws praise from Mark Cuban

LAS VEGAS -- Even though his Summer League play with the Dallas Mavericks isn't leading off to a spectacular start, Bobby Parks Jr's quest to make it to the NBA is still a very attainable dream.
"This (NBA) is where he should belong," Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban told Julius Romero of NBA Philippines. "He just needs to get acclimated to the game," Cuban added.
The Mavericks are currently on a mini slump to start the annual Summer League, losing their first two outings --- 93-80 to Portland and 90-86 to New Orleans.
The 22-year old Parks played just 3 minutes and 19 seconds against the Blazers and went scoreless. He played 7 minutes and 52 seconds against the Pelicans and split his free throws to earn a point.
Obviously, the 6-foot-4, 205-pound Parks is still trying to find his rhythm in the ongoing Summer League, but given his immense talents Bobby Ray should be able to showcase the skills that made him a huge UAAP star.
"I am very thankful for this blessing and opportunity....and I will work very hard," Parks told NBA Philippines' Romero.
Parks and the Mavericks face the Washington Wizards on Tuesday afternoon (early Wednesday today in Manila) at the Thomas and Mack Center.
