NIETES IS GAB BOXER OF THE MONTH!

WBO Asia-Pacific minimumweight champion Donnie Nietes of the ALA Boxing Gym has been selected as the Boxer of the Month in the GAB's latest rankings released yesterday by the government agency.
Nietes was chosen owing to his impressive titular defense over Thailand's Thongthailek Por Vorasing last April 21 in Victorias City, gaining for him the top-ranking in the WBO latest ratings.
The Murcia, Bacolod City-native Nietes holds a fearsome record of 20 wins, 1 loss, 3 draws with 12 KO's, and is just awaiting for his crack at the WBO title vacated by Puerto Rican Ivan Calderon.
