In attendance, the main event fighters, Mauricio "El Maestro" Herrera and "Hammerin'" Hank Lundy, not only showed off for the cameras but also exchanged a few heated words ahead of their anticipated bout. Joseph "Jo Jo" Diaz Jr. and Rene "Gemelo" Alvarado, who are scheduled to open up the HBO Latino telecast, attended the event and were joined by fighters featured in the non-televised undercard including Nick Arce, Christian "Chimpa" Gonzalez and Jesus Ivan Delgado.
