Los Angeles, CA ? Manny Pacquiao had a famous visitor who joined him in his last morning run in Los Angeles yesterday morning. Grammy award winning musician and one of Philippines? most adored sons, Apl de Ap of the famed Black Eyed Peas accompanied the champ in his final morning jog and round of exercises at Griffith Park.
The famous musician and pride of Angeles City, Pampanga ran the hills of Griffith with Pacquiao early morning yesterday and then proceeded to join him in his morning warm up exercises and stretching. Coaches Buboy Fernandez and Nonoy Neri oversaw both celebrities as Apl, Allan Pineda Lindo Jr. in real life, tried to mimic the champ?s stretching and abdominal work out at the park.
Monday was Pacquiao?s last day to run in his favorite trail and is also his last day in Los Angeles. Team Pacquiao left at around five in the afternoon for the six hour road trip to Las Vegas where he is scheduled to face undefeated Timothy Bradley this Saturday at the MGM Grand Arena.
Pacquiao arrived at around eleven o?clock Monday evening in Las Vegas and checked in at his favorite base camp of all of his fights here in the Entertainment Capital of the World, the Hotel at Mandalay Bay with his family, friends and his team.
Pacquiao will resume his last phase of training in Las Vegas which will consist of light conditioning exercises and mitt work. He will also be involved in the various activities scheduled for Fight Week en route to his June 9th defense of his WBO welterweight belt against Bradley.
