By Rene Bonsubre, Jr. PhilBoxing.com Mon, 06 Nov 2017

World ranked Filipino light flyweight Randy Petalcorin arrived in Australia and is set for his November 10 fight against Oscar Raknafa of Indonesia. Australian Promoter Peter Maniatis informed philboxing that Petalcorin (IBF # 3 and WBC # 6 and WBO # 12 light flyweight) continued to train at the Boxingfit Gym in Port Melbourne.
?The whole gym stopped to see Randy working the pads,? said Promoter Maniatis. ?Randy is only 2kg above his fighting weight he is ready now to fight. I would like to thank Jim Manangquil, co - manager and the Sanman gym, They prepped Randy well for this fight with Raknafa the two time Indonesian champion?
"My weight is on target, I want the fight to arrive soon. This is my 4th fight in Australia and I really like it here a lot of people always ask me how Senator Manny Pacquiao is doing back home? said Petalcorin
Petalcorin also put in 6 hard rounds on the pads followed by bag work, speed ball and skipping. Petalcorin (27-2-1,20KO's) is a former WBA interim world light flyweight titlist and is currently back in the title hunt. Raknafa (13-15,5KO's) is also a former WBO Asia Pacific miniflywieght titlist who owns a win against former world champ Muhammad Rachman.
