SALUDAR BROS., PARAS WIN IN CDO

Fight fans in Cagayan de Oro City got to see three world caliber boxers score impressive wins in a fight card held last August 30. Froilan Saludar utilized a hard body shot to knock out John Rey Lausa in round four. This is Froilan?s third straight stoppage win since he lost to Takuma Inoue last year in Japan.
Vic Saludar beat Michael Kinaadman by eight round unanimous decision. Vic bounces back from his much talked about spilt decision loss to Toto Landero in Mandaue City last June.
Vic is ranked number 4 among the mini-flyweight contenders of the WBO.
Vince Paras knocked out Marlou Sandoval in one round. Paras is ranked number 12 in the light flyweight division in the August 2017 rankings of the WBO. He holds the WBO Youth Asia-Pacific title.
For the other undercard matches, Jun Doliguez won by fourth round TKO against Jason Redondo, Shota Kawaguchi beat Raymund Dayham also by TKO in the fourth, and Marco John Rementizo got a four round unanimous verdict against Garen Diagan.
The fights were held at the Barangay Bulua Covered Court and promoted by Kenneth Rontal?s Championship Boxing Development of the Philippines.
