Emmanuel 'Manny' Rodriguez crushes Gabor Molnar in Hatillo, Puerto Rico; Complete Results PhilBoxing.com Sun, 22 Feb 2015 WBO bantamweight Latino Champion, Emmanuel 'Manny' Rodriguez ( 11-0, 7 KO's ) from Puerto Rico, defeated Hungarian, Gabor Molnar ( 16-7, 10 KO's ) by TKO in the second round in a 10 round maint event bout held at the Francisco 'Pancho' Deida Coliseum in Hatillo, Puerto Rico. Rodriguez was suposed to face Dominican title contender, Luis Hinojosa but visa issues cancelled the fight. Molnar entered the fight as a one week replacement. The WBO Latino belt was not on the line because Molnar is not latino. Since the beginning of the fight, Rodriguez was effective by being the aggressor, and attacked the body with lots of solid right and left hooks. Molnar visited the canvas four times, twice on each round, until the referee stopped the fight. "Thanks to the fans for being here, and for supporting all the talents that were involved in the boxing card. My opponent gave his best, and he earned my respect because he came to fight but it was my night to win", stated Emmanuel Rodriguez, who is currently ranked number 9 by the WBO. In a thrilling encounter, which was a duel of unbeaten lightweights, Miguel Canino (5-0, 2 KO's) defeated by majority decision, Juvenal 'Gringo' Ramos (2-1, 2 KO's ). The judges scored 40-36, 39-37 and 38-38. In a war from start to finish at the flyweight division, Jesus 'Chiquito' Soler (7-1, 3 KO's) scored a unanimous decision over Gustavo Ortiz ( 1-3 ). All 3 judges scored 58-56. The two-time Puerto Rico National Champion, Miguel Alejandro Cruz ( 7-0, 6 KO's ) defeated in a bloody encounter, Daniel 'The Rock' Rodr?guez (2-13, 2 KO) by TKO in the fourth round. In four round bouts, N?stor Bravo (1-0, 1 KO) defeated Nestor Ortiz ( 0-3 ) by TKO in the first round, Adalberto 'Adan' Zorrilla (2-0, 2 KOs) defeated Jason Agosto ( 0-5 ) by TKO in the second round, Ryan Pino (1-0, 1 KO) demolished Julio Soto ( 0-4 ) by TKO in the second round, and Pedro Marquez (1-0) won by unanimous decision over Sean Acosta (0-1).
