CUELLO WINDS DOWN TRAINING FOR DUBAI TITLE BOUT

World title challenger Denver ?The Excitement? Cuello (33W-4L-6D, 21 KO?s) wrapped up his training Tuesday for his highly anticipated challenge against WBC strawweight champion Xiong Zhao Zhong (20W-4L-1D, 11 KO?s) of China this Friday June 28 in Dubai.
Cuello spent Tuesday jogging in Dubai at the Juneirah Beach and hit the punch mitts inside the KO Gym. Cuello?s manager and promoter Aljoe Jaro updated philboxing that Cuello was only three pounds over the 105 lb division limit two days before the official weigh-in. Jaro is confident that Cuello will have no problem sweating off the excess pounds because of the intense heat in Dubai. Team Cuello will just do their routine jog and walk around the Dubai and Marina malls to keep his weight down.
Jaro said that Cuello has no problem adjusting his diet especially that Filipino cooks are working in the Movenpick hotel where Team Cuello is billeted. The official weigh-in will be on June 27 Thursday at 3 in the afternoon (Dubai Time). Hector Afu of Panama will be the third man in the ring with Sergio Izonso, John King and Roman Denizon as the judges. Patrick Cusick of Australia will be the fight supervisor.
