PAEL VS BATINGGAL IN SIQUIJOR SEPT. 15

SIQUIJOR, SIQUIJOR - Philippine Boxing Federation (PBF) bantamweight champ Rajah Renoel Pael (9W-0L-1D, 4 KO's) of the Princesa Bulakna Resort, Candaping B, Maria, Siquijor is all set to fight before his hometown fans once again when he defends his title against Arlon ?Turbo? Batinggal (6W-4L, 3 KO's) of Butuan City?s Don Punch Stable this Saturday September 15 at the municipal gym of Siquijor.
The undefeated Pael garnered his PBF belt last May when he stopped Roger Echavez in seven rounds in Lazi, Siquijor. In his last fight, Pael won against the previously unbeaten Louie Arlos of Bacolod City by split decision in a non-title bout held in Compostela, Cebu last July 22. Batingal won against Michael Bastasa by unanimous decision in his last fight in Agusan Del Sur last July 25.
Set to appear on the undercards are JR Salvador of the Phil-Aust Gym of Mandaue City vs Richard Rosales of Bohol (6 rounds), Alvin Aresgado of Siquijor vs Michael Beron of Bohol (6 rounds) and Bryan Samson of Siquijor vs Jerome Baja of the Phil-Aust Gym (4 rounds).
The boxers made the stipulated weight during official weigh-in held at the Siquijor Provincial Health Office supervised by Rolando Mendoza and Celso Miranda of GAB-Cebu.
