Mandaue City ? Sixteen Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fighters will see action this Saturday in what promises to be an explosive fight card at the Mandaue City Cultural and Sports Complex. Headlining the event will be James Joel ?Spider? Serenio versus Jafet ?Smiling? Flores.
Serenio weighed 121 lbs while Flores stepped in at 119 ? lbs during the weigh-in held Friday noon at the AA Restaurant in Mandaue.
The fighters featured in this card are from different MMA clubs in Cebu ? Soma MWWAXFI, Durex Dragon KBC, Bullet Muay-Thai, Komjokai Aikijutsu, Projectile Pit Muay-Thai, ArcomJukai and Yaw-Yan Ardigma-Cebu. The official weigh-in was supervised by Rolando Mendoza of the Games and Amusements Board.
Also set to see action are Geronimo ?Dare Devil? Etac (131 lbs) against Arnel Ylanan (128.5 lbs), Jepol Noquera (109 lbs) vs Axel Torbiso (107 lbs), Slotty Avila (113.5 lbs) will fight John Edu ?Excalibur? Cabalhug (117 lbs), Rolando Nacua Jr. (135 lbs) will make his debut against Moises Nudalo (139 lbs), David Po (129 lbs) vs Sherwin Pugales (121 lbs), Marcelino Abayle (115 lbs) vs Edmar Sumbi (113 lbs) and Cyrus Noquera (131 lbs) vs Lanly Palagtiw (129 lbs).
