AGUELO VS TUBIGON IN MANDAUE MAY 26

CEBU - Adonis ?TI Yamagata? Aguelo of Mandaue City will defend his Philippine Boxing Federation (PBF) featherweight title against Godwin Tubigon of Dipolog City at the Mandaue City Sports Complex on May 26.
Aguelo retained the title last February by unanimous decision against Renan Branzuela in a fight card held at the Gym of Barangay Basak in Lapu-lapu City. Last February, Tubigon lost to James Bacon of the ALA gym in Bohol by unanimous decision.
TI Cebu Boxing gym chief trainer and former national boxing team member Brix Flores told philboxing last Friday that Aguelo?s Japanese manager Akira Sato will stage a regional title bout for his boxer here in Cebu if he wins impressively against Tubigon.
This card will also feature battle-hardened Jason Egera vs Donriel Marcos (8 rounds), Gerpaul "TI Yamagata" Valero vs Michael Bastasa (8 rounds), TI Yamagata Masashi of Japan vs Jamie Bermiso of Leyte (6 rounds), TI Yamagata Ardie Boyose vs Robert Awetin (6 rounds), Jayvee Galea vs Jesse Dignos (4 rounds) and Margarito Moya vs Richard Rosales (4 rounds). This card will also feature added entertainment in the form of group dance numbers.
