LOS ANGELES, February 11 - Paid to protect and serve the members of their communities, a select group of Southern California's finest law enforcement officers will enter the boxing ring on Thursday, February 24, with the intention to hit and not be hit during three amateur bouts that will be featured on the season premiere of "Fight Night Club" at L.A. LIVE's Club Nokia.

In the featured amateur attraction, it will be a highly anticipated rematch, when Chris "The Bull" Barrios, from the L.A. Sheriff Department, IRC Division, battles Juan "Bad Blood" Bustamante of the LAPD Foothill Division in a bout in the 200-pound division that is a rematch of a past fight and has already caused excitement in both officers' departments. There is so much buzz surrounding the fight that the LAPD has dubbed this fight "Barrios vs. Bustamante II."

Battling it out in the 195-pound division will be the L.A. Sheriff Department's Rafael "The Hammer" Zelaya of the TST Division and South Gate Police Department Officer David Sanchez. In a heavyweight bout pitting Sheriff against Sheriff, the fists will be flying when Rahsaan "The Last Thoroughbred" Harrison of the TTCF Division takes on the TST Division's Andres "The Giant" Navarro.

"We are excited to have a 'Battle of the Badges' to kick off the 2011 season of 'Fight Night Club'," said Oscar de la Hoya, President of Golden Boy Promotions. "These officers risk their lives everyday protecting us and I'm proud to have them competing on a Golden Boy Promotions show. I can't wait to watch them battle it out in the ring to see which is the toughest department in LA."

"Fight Night Club" is presented by Golden Boy Promotions and AEG and sponsored by DeWalt Tools. The series will return to L.A. LIVE's Club Nokia on April 28, May 26, June 23, August 25, October 27 and November 18. The evening's professional fights will be broadcast on Fox Sports Net (FSN) and its regional sports network affiliates (check local listings) and streamed live online at www.RingTV.comat 8:00 p.m. PT/11:00 p.m. ET. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. PT and the first bell rings at 7:00 p.m. PT.

Tickets, priced at $150 (VIP On-Stage Seats, which allow purchasers to sit ringside on Club Nokia's stage near VIP's attending the fight [De La Hoya, etc.] and grant buyers access to the Club Nokia VIP Room during the event), $100 (VIP Balcony Seats in the first two rows which grant buyers access to the Club Nokia VIP Room during the event), $60 (VIP Balcony Seats which grant buyers access to the Club Nokia VIP Room during the event), $25 (General Admission Upper Balcony Seats) and $15 (General Admission Floor Standing Room) are available for purchase by calling Ticketmaster at 1-800-745-3000 online at http://www.ticketmaster.com or through any Ticketmaster outlet or the STAPLES Center box office. Now entering its third season, "Fight Night Club" is Golden Boy Promotions' and AEG's critically acclaimed live monthly boxing series, that presents boxing in a night club atmosphere, with a DJ, music, great food and a VIP room, as well as a unique setup where the ring is on Club Nokia's stage with standing room for fans in front of the ring, as well as reserved seating in the balcony. After the boxing action ends, fans are invited to stay to hear great music played by LA's hottest DJ's, dance and mingle with the fighters as the venue converts back into a night club. Athletes and celebrities have flocked to Club Nokia to take in the "Fight Night Club" action including, future Hall of Famer and GBP President Oscar de la Hoya, future Hall of Famer and GBP Partner Bernard "The Executioner" Hopkins, Hall of Famer Sugar Ray Leonard, current and former World Champions Amir "King" Khan, Sergio "The Latin Snake" Mora, Daniel Ponce De Leon and Paulie "Magic Man" Malignaggi, plus sports and entertainment stars Barry Bonds, Will i Am, Taboo, Mario Lopez, Audrina Patridge, Baby Bash, Aubrey O'Day, Tattoo and many more.
